Blackbird Stables, home of Essential Training, is a state-of-the-art private equestrian facility located in Mono, Ontario. Blackbird's brand new barn & arena were thoughtfully built to provide the ideal modern setting for you and your horse.

Blackbird Stables offers indoor and outdoor boarding services, ship in lessons and is also available for daily rental for equestrian events.

We know that the barn is your home away from home,

so we built a really nice house.

Building Blackbird Stables from the ground up afforded us the opportunity to create a truly special place for people to come and enjoy horses. We believe the devil is in the details, and every last inch of this barn was intentionally designed to meet the needs and wants of both our horses and our horse people. This is a barn built by riders for riders, and we can't wait to show you around!

AMENITIES

Our beautiful farm boasts two bright, immaculate barns with ten large stalls. The original barn was built in 2018 and is used for training horses, and our new barn, completed in 2021, is used by our school horses and boarders.
